Vladimir Tomov - President

Vladimir Tomov has graduated Business Administration at the University of Mining and Geology and Financial Management at the University of National and World Economy, Bulgaria. He has MSc in Computer Engineering from the Technical University - Sofia.

Mr. Tomov has business specializations at the University of Delaware, USA and at the Consorzio Genova Ricerche, Italy. He is Certified Management Consultant (CMC) from the Institute of Management Consultancy, London, UK.

For more than 25 years he has extensive experience as a consultant and project manager of numerous EU and GTZ projects with international scope in the field of SME support, private investment projects, financial institutions and banks, capacity building of NGOs, municipalities and government authorities.

Vladimir Tomov is Member of the Board of Directors of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and President of BCCI Investment Council.  He is Managing Director of INTRAC Ltd. and Chairman of the Managing Board of EIRC Foundation.

 

Lachezar Iskrov – Vice President

Lachezar Iskrov received a PhD in Law at Leipzig University - Germany (1979). He started his career as a Research Associate at the Institute for Foreign Policy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He has over 35 years of management experience as Partner and MD of VL Eurotrade Ltd., Austria; CEO of Aman Trading Ltd., Kyrgyzstan; Partner and MD of Escalibur – Bulgaria Ltd.; Partner and MD of Colis Land Development Ltd.; Owner and MD of Velis Consult Ltd.

He is a Member of the Executive Council of BCCI; Vice-President of the Council of Sectorial Organisations with the BCCI; Past President of the Bulgarian National Real Estate Association; Past Vice President of Friedrich Schiller” Alliance for German language and culture. He speaks fluently English, German and Russian.

 

 

Pavel Velkov - Vice President

Pavel Velkov has over 15 years of experience in the field of finance and investment. Before founding Morningside Hill in 2014 Mr. Velkov gained extensive investment experience in Europe, North America and Africa. He had positions in various investment funds with a variety of strategies covering venture capital, private equity, publicly traded shares, corporate and government bonds, companies in difficulty, special situations and convertible arbitration. Mr. Velkov has a Master's degree in Business Administration from Columbia Business School, Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Business administration from American University in Bulgaria and CFA charter.

 

 

 

Rayna Mitkova – Member of the Council Bureau

Member of the board of FENCA, President of ACABG and Managing Director of EOS in Bulgaria

Rayna Mitkova is the Managing Director of the Bulgarian subsidiaries of the leading international provider of financial services EOS Group – EOS Matrix and EOS Services. Today EOS in Bulgaria is a preferred partner to leading banks and non-banking financial institutions, telecommunications and utility companies, as well as to numerous other companies in the field of receivables management (debt collection, debt purchase and international receivables management). Currently, both companies have over 350 employees and hold a market share of about 25% on the local receivables’ management market.

Rayna Mitkova actively participated in the establishment of the Association of the Collection Agencies in Bulgaria (ACABG) – the only branch organization of this type in the country aiming at setting high standards in the receivables management industry and bringing more transparency in the sector. Since the establishment of ACABG in 2011 Ms. Mitkova holds the position of its president, being reelected in 2014 and 2017.

In 2015 Rayna Mitkova joined the management body of the Federation of European National Collection Associations (FENCA). She was elected as a member of its Board of Directors and is responsible for the internal and external communication of the Federation.

Rayna Mitkova has a background in economics and an Executive MBA degree from Cortugli Business School, Croatia. She has over 15 years of management experience in international business development and strategic planning in the software, consultancy and receivables management sectors. In 2009 she became one of the finalists in the “Manager of the Year” contest by the leading Bulgarian business magazine “Manager” and in 2010 she won the “Young Manager” award by “Eureka” foundation. Ms. Mitkova has held numerous presentations both on national and international forums on the topics of debt collection, people’s management and leadership.

 

Anna Boneva – Member of the Council Bureau

Mrs. Anna Boneva has been the Executive Director and a member of the Management Board of Tokuda Bank since November 2016. 

Prior to joining the Tokuda Bank team, she headed the Treasury Department of the Bulgarian-American Credit Bank. There, for more than 16 years, she was in charge of managing the bank’s liquidity, transactions on the interbank money and foreign exchange markets, cash flow forecasting and fundraising operations.

Before that, she held different positions at BNB’s foreign exchange department. She also has experience in real estate. Mrs. Bonevais a member of the Bulgarian Dealers Association.

 

Ivan Zelyazkov – Member of the Council Bureau

Dipl. Eng. Ivan Zelyazkov is a Master of Science in Electrical Power Engineering from the Technical University – Sofia, as well as he has received his MSc in International Economic Relations from the University of National and World Economy. He has specialized in Banks and Banking Management in the Institute for Postgraduate Studies at the University of National and World Economy.

He is Management Board Member of the Scientific and Technical Union of Power Engineers in Bulgaria and of the International Academy of Electrical Engineering in Moscow. 

He was a Member of the Board of Directors of “TPP Maritsa East 2” EAD and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Electricity Company EAD.

He is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of Contact Elements AD and Member of the Board of Directors of Centralna Energoremontna Baza EAD.

 

Gabriela Dimitrova - Secretary and member of the Council Bureau

Gabriela Dimitrova has a masters degree from the University of Economics in Varna, Bulgaria. 

She has been working for the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 2001.

In 2008 she becomes director of the International Relations and International organizations Directorate.

Gabriela Dimitrova has experience in European and international projects and business events.
